September 16th and 17th will be a CD release event for my recent CD, ‘In Hand‘, at Emiliano’s Cafe in downtown Gainesville.  Von Barlow, drummer, will be playing with Paul and myself in the newly renovated bar area at Emiliano’s.  This trio is getting a good bit of playing experience and contributed to my album, ‘In Hand’, and we will be covering material from the album as well as new arrangements.  Hope to see you there!

Also, Steve Williams of Tapas 12 West, is opening a new restaurant in the Town of Tioga called Oceans and we will be playing as a duo September 13th to help celebrate the opening of this new eatery.

I’ll be playing at the Casa Monica hotel’s 95 Cordova Lounge in historic St. Augustine on August 9th with my quartet.  It is super swank and a great room for live music so I hope to see you there!

We had a blast playing at Ocean 60 June 6th and 7th and Wes Lester, photographer extraordinaire, took some really creative shots in the night club lighting. The quartet was Von Barlow on drums, Randall Haywood on trumpet and flugel, Paul Creel on acoustic bass and myself on vox and geetar. This was pretty much the ideal quartet and I’d love to book it some more, but, alas, Randall is off to Julliard in August (good for him though, he is a great musician!!!). Have a look at the PHOTOS!.
